OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention falls within the technical field of roofs or decks for uncovered freight wagons, and refers in particular to a rigid cover intended to be temporarily linked on the surface of an uncovered platform for freight transport, preferably a wagon of type discovered, to insulate and protect from outside the goods arranged on the platform, especially designed for the case in which said goods are steel coils of high dimensions. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The transport of goods by rail is carried out by wagons specifically designed to house such goods. Freight wagons, which can be covered or uncovered, generally comprise a platform, called a cargo platform, intended to support the cargo to be transported.
The covered wagons comprise closed side walls and covered superiorly by a fixed roof, and have the advantage of preventing the deterioration of the merchandise contained in them by the action of atmospheric agents, as well as protecting it from possible runoff of the catenary in the lines of electrified railways, or acts of vandalism, and robberies.
The main drawback they present is derived from the limited interior space available, which is also compromised by the permissible gauge dimensions, which makes them unusable for the transport of goods of high volumes and dimensions, as in the case of certain parts of machinery, construction elements, etc. In addition, the existence of a fixed roof hinders the loading and unloading operations of said goods, which are generally done by means of cranes and similar lifting mechanisms.

The freight wagons discovered, which have no roof or, in the case of those known as platform wagons, or side walls, are more appropriate for the transport of this type of goods. In order to avoid the aforementioned deterioration, said platform wagons usually incorporate a frame composed of a plurality of removable arches, with dimensions within the margins allowed by the gauge, on which, with the merchandise already loaded on the platform, It has a similar flexible and lightweight awning, hood or structure, as a temporary covering.
These awnings tend to crack or tear easily, both due to the deterioration resulting from their exposure to adverse conditions and by contact with the merchandise itself, which negatively affects its insulating function.
In the specific case of rail transport of large steel coils from manufacturing in steel industries, these are usually placed on the platform of an uncovered freight car, two by two and horizontally, with the reel on which the coil located in a transverse and parallel position with respect to the axes of the car is wound.
These coils, once arranged on the platform, are covered with awnings, which usually causes the aforementioned problems, which also, and due to the nature of the transported material, are aggravated because the steel can oxidize and lead the electric current in case of contacting the catenary. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The object of the invention consists of a deck of freight platforms of uncovered type, preferably railway wagons, specially designed and designed for the case of transport of large steel coils from the steel industry in uncovered platform type wagons .
For this, the roof comprises an essentially rectangular internal structure, composed of a plurality of columns and beams linked together, the

which is covered externally by a wrapper composed of a plurality of rigid sheets linked to the internal structure, to give rise to a cover intended to be temporarily disposed on a freight platform uncovered to surround and contain the goods arranged on said platform.
The cover resulting from the union of the structure with the sheets of the envelope comprises at least four side walls closed and linked to each other by their upper ends by means of a roof, while inferiorly it is open. The incorporation to the roof of an anchoring element, preferably of the handle type or the like, is further contemplated to allow the grip of the entire structure by means of a crane or equivalent lifting mechanism, which allows its placement and removal on the car.
In a preferred embodiment, the columns and beams that constitute the internal structure are steel profiles of the UPN-100 type, and the external rigid sheets that make up the envelope are galvanized steel sheets of different thicknesses, linked to the structure by welding.
The addition of a plurality of fasteners is also provided to fix the cover to the platform surface once placed in the desired position, thereby preventing it from moving when it is in motion. In a preferred embodiment, the fastening means are hinge-type closures that are operated manually.
In its most preferred embodiment, the roof is intended to be linked to a multipurpose railway car of the SGH type of the RENFE-FEVE park. Since the height of the cargo plane of said wagons in its central part, which is the area where the roof is located, is 850 mm, and since the height of said roof at its highest point is in this embodiment of 2,214 mm, the total height of the set is 3,064 mm, which does not exceed the limits established by the operator for the static gauge resulting from the material.
The cover thus described is a simple, economical and robust solution to protect the loads arranged on uncovered cargo platforms. In addition, and

Given the lightness of the materials in which it is made, it hardly incorporates weight at the maximum permissible load. DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred example of practical implementation thereof, a set of drawings is attached as an integral part of said description. where, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented:
Figure 1.- Shows a perspective view of the deck mounted on a freight car and held by a crane, in which its main constituent elements are appreciated.
Figure 2.- Shows a bottom plan view of the roof structure.
Figure 3.- Shows a side view of the roof.
Figure 4.-Shows a front view of the roof. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
Next, a detailed explanation of a preferred embodiment of the object of the present invention is provided with the aid of the aforementioned figures.
The cover of the disclosed type of transport platforms described, shown in Figure 1, is formed by an internal structure (1), covered externally by a wrapper (2), and is intended to surround and contain goods arranged on the platform of uncovered cargo to insulate them from the outside and protect them. In the preferred application of this embodiment, the goods are steel coils, and the transport platform is an uncovered freight car, known in the railway field as a platform type.

The structure (1) in turn comprises a plurality of upper beams (3) and lower beams (4), both of essentially horizontal orientation, linked together by a plurality of columns (5) of essentially vertical orientation, which results in to a reticular structure (1) with an essentially rectangular geometry plant, as shown in Figure 2. In the preferred embodiment described, the joints between upper beams (3), lower beams (4) and columns ( 5) to conform the structure
(1) are carried out by semi-automatic TIG welding, according to ASME9 procedure and NASI / AWS 200 visual inspection.
The structure (1) comprises a plurality of blocks (6), located in the lower beams (4), intended to stabilize said structure (1) on the platform surface. Fastening means (7), preferably linked to the blocks (6), fix the position of the cover on the platform. In this preferred embodiment, as shown in Figure 1, the fastening means (7) are bolt-type closures.
The envelope (2) in turn comprises side walls (8) and a roof
(9) which links said side walls (8) together by their respective upper ends, to form a wrapper (2) with an open bottom face. The side walls (8) of the described preferred embodiment are embodied in respective galvanized steel plates of 1 mm thickness, while the ceiling (9) is a galvanized steel plate with a thickness of 1.2 mm.
As can be seen in the attached figures, the roof (9) of the envelope (2) incorporates an anchoring element (10), preferably a sheet with two slopes between which a gap is defined to allow the grip of the cover by part of a crane-type or similar lifting mechanism, for placement or removal on the wagon platform.
The envelope (2) is linked by welding its side walls (8) and its roof (9) with the respective upper beams (3), lower beams (4) and columns (5) of the structure (1), to give place a cover closed on all sides except the bottom. The additional incorporation of ventilation slots (11) is provided, alternated with slats (12) defined in the envelope (2) as seen in Figure 4, to allow the passage of air into the interior space of the cover and facilitate the aeration of the merchandise contained inside.
